Modern buildings are warmer and better insulated than ever before, but this has also increased the risk of condensation forming which can be harmful to structural timber, insulation, metal components and electrical equipment, stored possessions and even decorations below the ceiling. Harmful condensation is unlikely to occur where moisture entering a roof space is minimized and there is adequate ventilation.

The UST12 Eaves Carrier are designed to bridge the rafters and provide support for the roofing felt. It is suitable for both new build and refurbishment and recommended for long-term durability against UV degradation from direct sunlight, whilst offering support to the membrane to eliminate ponding at the tilt position.

CFV10 and CFV25 Over-Fascia Vents are perfect for providing discreet eaves ventilation, including eaves not having an overhanging soffit. They are designed for use in conjunction with Cedral’s underlay support tray and rafter tray. They are lightweight and resistant to both corrosion and rotting.

This continuous durable rafter roll is both lightweight and totally resistant to decay. it may be rolled out over the tops of the rafters and nailed into them prior to laying of the underlay.

UST60 Rafter Tray provide continuous eaves ventilation. Each tray fits neatly between two rafters and may be nailed into the tops of the rafters prior to laying of the underlay.  They prevent loft insulation from being pushed up to the underside of the roofing underlay and will maintain a clear ventilation path into the roof void from the eaves. They are quick and easy to install.

The CCF1 Comb Filler is available in 1m lengths. With a 4mm-gap between the teeth, it prevents ingress of small birds, large insects and vermin at the eaves batten cavity, while allowing ventilation between the roofing underlay and the roof covering.
