Cedral 2024 Roofing Championship Promotion - Terms and Conditions

  1. 1. The Cedral Roofers Championship Promotion (hereinafter referred to as "the Promotion") is operated by Etex Ireland Ltd (Company Number 9179), registered in Ireland with registered office at Kilkenny Road, Athy, Co. Kildare, R14 VN84 (hereinafter referred to as "the Promoter").
  3. 2. By participating in the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, as might be amended from time to time, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.


  1. 3. The Promotion rewards the installation of Qualifying Slates with an allocation of points. Points are redeemable for Me2You Gift Vouchers strictly subject to these terms and conditions and the acumulation of the qualifying number of points.


  1. 4. The Promotion is open to registered companies, established partnerships and sole traders on the island of Ireland carrying on the business of installing roof coverings.


Qualifying Slates
  1. 5. The Promotion is only in respect of the following lines of fibre cement roof slates as manufactured by the Promoter: Cedral Rivendale, Cedral Thrutone Endurance Smooth & Cedral Thrutone Endurance Textured (referred to throughout as “Qualifying Slates”).


Points Accumulation
  1. 6. Participants are allocated 1 point for each Qualifying Slate they install.
  3. 7. Points do not constitute property and have no cash value. They are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable and are not assignable for any reason.


Reward Tiers
  1. 8. Upon accumulating the required number of points, participants may redeem those points for Me2You Gift Vouchers (“Voucher” or “Vouchers”) as follows:

 Voucher to value of €1,250

 (one thousand two hundred and fifty euro)



  1. 9. A minimum of 17,500 points is required to qualify for a reward. Rewards are not cumulative, for example 24,500 points are redeemable for a €700 Voucher only and not a €500 Voucher together with a €700 Voucher
  3. 10. Points accumulated in excess of the Level 1 requirement but less than the Level 2 requirement do not entitle the participant to a reward greater than the Level 1 reward. Points accumulated in excess of the Level 2 requirement but less than the Level 3 requirement do not entitle the participant to a reward greater than the Level 2 reward.
  5. 11. In the event a participant exceeds the Tier 3 points requirement, surplus points will not be applied towards any additional reward.
  7. 12. Any liability to taxation of any nature arising in connection with a participant’s receipt of a reward shall be the sole responsibility of the participant.
  9. 13. Participants acknowledge that their receipt and use of a Me2You Gift Voucher is subject to the terms and conditions issued from time to time by the provider of Me2You Gift Vouchers, the current version of which is at https://www.me2you.ie/terms-conditions/
  11. 14. The Promoter reserves the right to change the type of gift card used in the Promotion without notice. Reference to Me2You Gift Vouchers in these terms and conditions shall include any alternate type of gift card used and the participant’s receipt and use of such alternate gift card shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant provider then prevailing.


  1. 15. The Promotion will commence on the 1st April 2024 and run to the 1st December 2024 (the “End Date”).
  3. 16. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate the Promotion at any stage without prior notice and without liability to any party or participant.


  4. 17. Points for the installation prior to the End Date of Qualifying Slates must be claimed within 7 days of the End Date. Points not redeemed for rewards within 14 days of the End Date will expire.


  1. 18. In order to participate an eligible roofer must complete the registration form at https://www.cedral.world/en-ie/roofingpromotion.
  3. 19. To claim the allocation of points for the installation of Qualifying Slates the participant must complete and submit the form at Roofing Promotion Redemption Page - Cedral and upload the Proof of Delivery Form ("POD") relating to the relevant Qualifying Slates.
  5. 20. The only information on a POD of relevance to the Promoter will be:
  7. a) The Eircode(or Postcode if relevant) of the property to which the Qualifying Slates were delivered for installation.
  9. b) The name and number of Qualifying Slates delivered for installation.
  11. c) The date of delivery.
  13. d) The name and address of the merchant from whom the Qualifying Slates were purchased.

The Promoter does not require the name/s and/or contact details of the owner or occupier of the building on which the Qualifying Slates were installed or of any person other than the merchant or the participant. The Promoter also does not require any pricing details for the Qualifying Slates. It is very important that all such information is blacked out on the POD before it is uploaded. Please note that the Promoter will immediately delete any POD on which such information is visible and no points will be allocated in respect of the slates to which the POD relates. The Promoter will also delete any POD on which the required information is illegible and no points will be allocated in respect of the slates to which the POD relates.

21. To redeem accumulated points for a reward participants should email rewardsireland@etexgroup.com 

  2. 22. Vouchers shall be posted by ordinary prepaid post to participants at the address provided on registration. The Promoter shall have no liability for any voucher lost or not received.
  4. 23. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a participant and reject a claim for rewards if in the opinion of the Promoter; (i) any information supplied to it by a participant is untrue or misleading, (ii) a POD appears to have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with,(iii) a participant’s conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Promotion,(iv) a participant’s conduct might bring the Promotion or Promoter into disrepute or (iv) there are grounds to believe a participant has breached these terms and conditions. The decision of the Promoter to disqualify a participant or reject a claim for rewards shall be final.


Data Protection
  1. 24. The Promoter will only process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  1. 25. The Promoter reserves the right to changes these terms and conditions at any time. Participants will be deemed notified of such changes upon the publication of the amended terms and conditions on Roofing Promo Terms & Conditions - Cedral
  3. 26. A participant can deactivate and delete its account at any time by emailing rewardsireland@etexgroup.com. Any outstanding points of sufficient quantity to qualify for a reward, can be redeemed prior to closing of the account or will otherwise be deleted.
  5. 27. Participants agree to indemnify the Promoter against all costs, losses, claims, damages, and liabilities arising from their breach of these terms and conditions.
  7. 28. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications.
  9. 29. These terms and conditions will be governed by the law of Ireland and any disputes will be decided by the Irish courts.
  11. 30. The Promoter is not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, or any other loss or damage resulting from the transfer of data over communications networks and facilities, including the internet, and participants acknowledge and agree that the Promotion, and the systems which host it, may be subject to limitations, delays and other problems inherent in the use of such communications facilities.
  13. 31. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Promoter shall not be liable to any participant under or in connection with these terms and conditions for any: (i) loss of profit, revenue, savings or business; (ii) use, loss or corruption of data or information; (iii) loss of business opportunity, reputation and/or goodwill; or (iv) consequential, indirect, incidental or special damage or loss of any kind.
