Care-free renovation
Cedral sidings make for a perfect material for renovating a facade. They cover up imperfections and protect newly installed insulation with a smooth and finished result. Sidings are attached to the exterior of your home. This means there is no need for any intrusive works that might cover your home in a thick layer of dust. No need to worry about the loss of space and perhaps the best of all: your home remains perfectly habitable during the renovation.
Additional insulation
Cedral weatherboards are quite thin (1 or 1.2 cm), which leaves enough room between the existing wall and the new cladding to fit an additional layer of insulation. This leaves your home better protected against the winter cold while keeping the home cooler during hot summers. Plus, you will notice the difference in your electricity bill. In addition, the fibre cement strips are resistant against many living organisms such as fungi, bacteria, insects and pests.
No painting required
The weatherboards are fitted with multiple layers of paint during the production process. This makes the material highly form-retaining and eliminates the need to pain it. Once installed, the material is virtually maintenance-free; except for the occasional rinse with some detergent and water to remove any dirt that may have accumulated over time.
