The 1970’s ranch style bungalow had a few previous owners and several renovation attempts by the time Stuart and Jenny Lewis moved in with their family. Keen to update the rather jaded exterior and unsightly painted walls, they were inspired by a nearby property which had been fitted with Cedral facades.

A visit to the Cedral website put them in touch with a certified Cedral Select Professional installer Peter Martlew and after researching Cedral’s range and fitting process, they were confident they had found what they were looking for.

“As homeowners we were impressed with Peter and his knowledge of the product and were confident that the outcome would be the right solution for our home,” says Stuart.

The couple were delighted that Cedral would give them the chance to cover the unsightly exterior walls and also, as Stuart explains, “reap the benefits of extra insulation and give our property a gorgeous new look”.

They were also very pleased with the benefits that Cedral facades offer. “Our research showed that Cedral offers an excellent fire performance classification,” says Stuart. “There was also a superb range of colour and choice of cladding style, and we loved the system that was involved with putting Cedral together – we deemed it stylish and well-engineered.”

The project was, as installer Peter Martlew explains, “a major transformation for the property, which was built in the 1970s and so was a challenge to bring it up to date like the owners expected”.

Cedral was the right choice he says. “I feel that the transformation of the property was a sound investment and that it will last for years to come with very minimal maintenance to keep it looking good.”

The Lewis family agree.
