A retired couple had this contemporary beach house built in Newport-on-Tay (Scotland). The enormous window section on the first floor gives the homeowners a precious view of the picturesque river Tay, without allowing prying looks into the home. The first floor facade in modern-looking Cedral Click sidings with timber pattern marvellously complements the natural-stone ground floor. The weatherboards are low maintenance, which was an absolute requirement for the owners.
Clean facade design with black sidings

The vertically used sidings with wood pattern form the continuation of the floor-to-ceiling windows. The vertical lines are also continued in the wooden floorboards of the terrace.
